Tentative Starting Dates

Kindergarten (Boys and Girls Combined) – Learn to play – Starts April 1st at 6PM. 

Travel Teams: Play against other towns.

 Boys 1st/2nd Grade – Starts Tuesday, March 18th at 6:00PM 

Boys  3rd/4th Grade – Starts Tuesday, March 18th at 6:00PM

Boys  5th/6th Grade – Starts Tuesday, March 18th at 6:00PM

Girls 1st/2nd Grade – Starts Tuesday, March 18th at 6:00PM

Girls  3rd/4th Grade – Starts Tuesday, March 18th at 6:00PM

Girls  5th/6th Grade – Starts Tuesday, March 18th at 6:00PM

Modified Teams:  Only play games – No practices (Players practice with their school teams)
There will be no conflicts with school games.

Teams will play against local rivals!

Register now for an exciting season of Spring Travel Lacrosse!  Teams will play in the Hudson Valley Lacrosse League and play against Edgemont, Irvington, Scarsdale, New Rochelle, Eastchester, and other local teams.

Open to beginners and all stars!

Our amazing coaches will teach your player the fundamentals of the sport as well as advanced skills to help them to understand the game and compete in games.

Boys Equipment Needed:  Stick, Helmet, Shoulder Pads, Gloves, Mouth Guard

Girls Equipment Needed: Stick, Eye Goggles, Mouth Guard

Practices:

Practices will be on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6-7:30PM.  Season runs through approximately mid June.  Dates, times, and field can change depending on the Ardsley school teams schedules.

Fees will cover: coaches salaries, league fees, referees fees, field space costs, insurance, equipment, uniforms, administrative fees.

Schedule will be out by the end of March.  Home games will be on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday or Sunday.

All players will need to become members of USA Lacrosse.

Fee:  At this time we need a $350 down payment (plus credit card surcharge). Based on our numbers and total expenses we might have to implement an additional charge.  The charge will not be greater than $50 per player.  

No prorating.  No refunds once program starts.

Robert Jacobson Sports Foundation is a recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation. We accept tax deductible donations and contributions which helps to offset costs associated with our programs and provide scholarship to those who are in need. Costs associated with our programs include gym space and field space rental fees, equipment costs, insurance fees, coaches fees, league fees, referees fees and other costs associated with our programs.  RJS offers scholarships to those who cannot afford to pay for our sports and education programs.
